Namira's external conflicts are riots, loss, and harassment. 2) The conflicts experienced by Namira are divided into two, external conflicts and internal conflicts. The effect of the three structures of id, ego, and superego in Namira's character can be said to be balanced. The results of this study are 1) Based on Sigmund Freud's theory, Namira Evav's characters are generous, compassionate, caring for others, religious, intelligent, and mature. Data collection techniques in this study used reading, listening, and taking notes. This type of research method used in this research is research with qualitative methods. The data source of this research is a novel entitled Kei: I Found Love in the Middle of War by Erni Aladjai. The purpose of this research is to describe the character of the main female character, to describe the form of conflict experienced by the main female character, and to describe the ego defense mechanisms of the female main character. Psychology and literature are two different but interrelated branches of science. This research is a literary study involving the psychoanalytic theory of Sigmund Freud. ![]()
