Decades around the track have left Luyendyk with a playbook on the drivers and how they like to be paced. Luyendyk says driving the pace car is mostly about knowing the guys behind you. Luyendyk will coach McAfee on driving the pace car before the Angie's List Grand Prix of Indianapolis, and once he gets that first lesson down, there won't be much for the punter to worry about. "Obviously, not doing anything silly," Luyendyk said.
